OCR's Staff
OCR's core team of managers has a broad background in terms of career history, education, and recruiting experience. This diverse history provides a solid foundation and insight to understand our clients' businesses, cultures, overall business goals, and methods of using college recruiting to achieve these goals.
Due to the seasonal nature of the college recruiting industry, our core team is augmented throughout the year by more than 45 professional recruiters, operations, technical, and support staff.
OCR's Executive Team
Jim Gardner, Director of Business Development
Jim was hired by On-Campus Resources in 2002 as Director of Business Development. In this role, Jim identifies and works with prospective clients to create customized recruitment programs to satisfy their needs.
Prior to joining OCR, Jim managed the sales effort for a services firm and worked as a commercial banker. Jim attended the University of Notre Dame, graduating with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree.

David C. Retford, Executive Director
Member, Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM)
David joined On-Campus Resources in 1998 to develop and grow our organization. He currently manages all operations at OCR.
David's career history includes working as a college representative for a medical publisher, ten years in marketing and product development and experience as the Director of Business Development. He attended The Ohio State University and the University of Cincinnati, earning degrees in Finance and Economics.
Amy (Schwabero) Trapp, Client Relationship Manager
Member, Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM)
Amy joined On-Campus Resources in 2002 and is currently a Client Relationship Manager. She travels to college campuses throughout North America in order to support our clients' recruiting efforts.
Amy's work experience prior to joining OCR includes a position as a public relations associate in the corporate communications group of an investment company. Amy graduated from Central Michigan University with a bachelor's degree in Journalism and a minor in Interpersonal Communications.
Ginger Hassler, Manager
Ginger became part of the OCR team in 2001 and is currently a Client Relationship Manager. Ginger is responsible for project management, planning, sourcing, screening, interviewing, reporting, shipping, logistics and administration. She acts as the primary contact for clients and candidates throughout the academic year and beyond.
Prior to joining OCR, Ginger worked for an internet company as a Project Coordinator. She also has experience in sales and marketing with a publishing company. Ginger graduated from Miami University of Ohio with a Bachelors degree in Speech Communications with a concentration in Marketing Buying and Promotion.
